As the Healthy Pet Whisperer, I believe that proper pet nutrition is the foundation of long-lasting health.
I only give my pets food from trusted manufacturers and companies with PHDs in animal science.
I found a company whose mission, values, and goals match with mine, to create a world where pets and their people thrive.
Quite simple. I was looking for something I could do from home, when I felt well, and without pain.
“Without pain,” that had become my life’s goal, after suffering through several back surgeries.
For 22 years previously, I worked in corporate sales in the hair care industry.
I absolutely loved my job!
In 2012 my career came to a complete halt because I could no longer function “as usual.” My world was turned completely upside down.
It all started in 2009 when I ruptured a disc in my neck. I had to have a cervical fusion.
I went through weeks of recovery and got the go-ahead from my medical team to get back out on the road.
I thought everything was good to go, until 2010 when I started having some of the same symptoms. Incredibly, I learned that the same thing had happened again! I had ruptured another disc in my neck.
Again, I got myself fixed and went back to work. However, after the second surgery, things just weren’t the same.
The “medical fixes” started to take their toll on me. The pain, discomfort, and stress of being on the road so much wore me down.
Near the end of 2011, I learned that I had ruptured two more discs in my neck. At that point I required a double cervical fusion.
By 2012 I was left with four levels in my neck completely fused and a bulging disc close to my brain that nothing could be done about it, which left me in constant pain. That last surgery put me over the edge. I felt that I could never fully recover and therefore decided that I could no longer do what I had done for the past 22 years.
Needless to say, I had to give up my very successful career as a top sales professional in the beauty industry.
Here’s the most important part, I knew there had to be a way for me to create income, do what I love when I want to do it, and make a difference in the lives of others.
I started thinking about what that looked like and how I could make it all happen.
I decided to explore my passion and love for animals. I’ve had pets all my life and a lot of them lived to be 16-18 years old. And I have several pets that I cherish right now!
In 2014 I partnered and helped launch an all-natural pet nutrition and wellness company in the social selling retail space, which aligned with my needs and beliefs.
Being part of this organization has given me even more personal and financial freedom than I ever dreamed of.
It turned out to be easier and more profitable than I thought. I’ve earned 3 cruises, numerous awards for sales achievement and team building, free products and bonuses, just to name a few perks.
Now, I get to do what I love, help who I love, and enjoy all the perks and benefits that come along with it.
